Colgate-Palmolive Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Colgate-Palmolive Company is an American multinational consumer products company headquartered on Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It specializes in the production, distribution and provision of household, health care, personal care and veterinary products.
One angry former employee shared this in a review "The upper management at Colgate-Palmolive does not give a crap about you. If you're a summer intern you're good since you get a project planned and have to present a poster at the end of the summer. However, if you're a year round intern, you are purely used for labor. There is absolutely no effort towards your professional development, no feedbacks at all, no access to internal job postings and minimal hope for career progression since they tend to have a preference of hiring PhDs. My advice would be to intern there since it's a successful FMCG company but do not stick for a long time since you're completely wasting your time in hopes for a full-time career there. Get the name on the resume for a few months and leave."

Current Employee - Director says"I have been working at Colgate-Palmolive full-time for more than 10 years Cons: Leadership doesn't honor career agreements. Men are favored over women. Lots of talk about diversity but reality is certain departments carry the diversity numbers for the company. You cannot trust anyone in Leadership to honor their commitments."
Current Employee - Business Analyst says"I have been working at Colgate-Palmolive full-time for more than 8 years Cons: HR is set on their goals and not on promoting and helping get the right people. It's all about who you know and what buttox you kiss. So make sure to check off a minority as who you relate to and/or marry someone at the company so that they can keep hand fitting your jobs."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at Colgate-Palmolive full-time Cons: No Growth , Lack of Innovation , Declining Categories other then Toothpaste , Does not support Long Term Careers as seen by their constant focus on shifting jobs overseas ."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I have been working at Colgate-Palmolive full-time for more than 10 years Cons: There's a reason why so many people have leaving and are continuing to leave the Legal department - it's the leadership - the GC leads with fear and intimidation, she acts 'above' the lawyers who support the business and brow beats all staff for the smallest things, wastes time by having 5,6,7 and 8 lawyers on a call to discuss and decide a minor issue - she does not give any authority to those who had plenty of it for years with previous GC. And her direct reports are now just mini versions of her - pushing people to do more work for less reward and no, I repeat no, praise or acknowledgement of hard work and good results. If you are thinking of joining Colgate's legal team - DON'T - run in the other direction fast."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at Colgate-Palmolive full-time Cons: Series of bad directors in Minneapolis getting blessing from Corporate bigwigs - constant CONSTANT turnover in Minneapolis office due to incompetent leadership."

Supposed to only work 8 HR shifts after plant start up. Yet they knew once they went to 12 hour shifts, there would be no going back to 8 hours. Flat lied to everyone! Then said " 12 hours, like it, or leave!" They have a handful of great people, but the bad far outweigh the good. That's from the top down to production associates. Without a 4 year college degree, there is no advancement. Highest you can go is from operations technican 1 to maintaince mechanic. No advancement. Do NOT recommend!
